Luna knows when I'm upset or not feeling well. It is generally the only time she cuddles. She can somehow sense that I need her. If she could take the pain from me and fix whatever is broken inside me, somehow I know she would. She cares too.
It's very interesting how pets connect with their owners on such a different level. I'm glad she knew to come give you cuddles. I hope you are feeling better and getting much needed rest!
